The Armon Edero is an arm support designed for those who have limited strength in their arms and hands, or for those that can only use their muscular strength for a limited time. The device compensates for the full weight of the arm by a spring compensation system. The support follows the natural movement of the user's arm which may allow movement in all directions. The arm support is available with a table mount, office chair mount and floor base mount. It can also be retrofitted to electric and manual wheelchairs.
General Details
Installation
Various mounting options are available, including floor mount, table mount and office chair mount. The Armon Edero can also be mounted to the backrest cane of a wheelchair.
Although the Armon Edero can be converted to suit either left or right arm, it is recommended to specify on ordering.
Extra product information
The Armon Edero can compensate an arm weight from 900 gram up to 4800 gram. The weight compensation is adjustable in 12 steps of approximately 350 gram per step. Higher tension is needed for a heavier arm. Tension may also be adjusted during the day (to assist with fatigue).
It is possible to mount four different types of Armon braces.
The Edero is available in the colors black (RAL 9005) and white (RAL 9010).
The Armon Edero consists mainly
of die cast aluminum. Due to its lightweight construction, it is easily removed and transported from place to place.
For use of the Armon Edero, the user should have some active deltoid muscle movement.
