Talking Mats is a communication tool that supports adults and children with communication difficulties to express their views. It helps them understand and consider a range of topics and say what they feel in a visual way that can be easily recorded. The app is available for use on iOS and Android platforms. Multiple symbol sets are available for purhcase within the app, and these mirror the symbol sets available in the original, low-tech format. A free 'taster' app is available to trial; there is also a 'lite' version available. Symbol sets are purchased from the Talking Mats website.
