A battery operated can opener that is not held while operating. It is placed in position on the can and the button pushed once.The opener stops automatically when the can is completely cut, leaving no sharp edges. Suitable for use on a variety of cans and ring pull cans up to 153mm diameter. Will not work on rimless or odd shaped cans. Can be operated using the right or left hand.

Caution

• Do not open pressurised cans or cans of flammable liquid.
• Avoid contact with moving parts.
• Do not immerse in liquid.
• Do not adjust or remove the cutter screw.
• Not suitable for dishwasher.
• There is a sharp edge on the cutter.Method of Use
• Requires 2 x AA batteries. Press both sides of the battery door, pull backwards and lift upwards. Remove and install batteries.
• Place the Can Opener II on top of the can with its rim positioned in the groove at the bottom of the can opener. The cutter will not operate unless positioned correctly. If using a can with a pull tab, turn the can upside down.
• With the can on a flat surface, press the START button for one second and release it once the can opener starts to cut. After cutting, the can opener will stop automatically. The maximum size that can be cut in one cycle is 98mm diameter. The can cutting size of the can opener is 52mm up to 153mm.
• When the cutting is complete, lift the can off the can.
