A home monitoring system that uses infrared sensors (not cameras) to track a person's home activities throughout the day. If there is variation from the set routine, carers will receive a push notification on their smartphone app to advise. It builds a profile of daily routines over the first week, and sends alerts if there is unusual activity or an issue. If it is a serious issue, the carer will also receive a text message. Daily 'everything is OK' message is sent at 10am to the carer, unless there is unusual activity. If the user has pets, the sensors will need to be set at a height that minimises/eliminates detection of the animal's movement. Uses batteries, and requires internet connection- alerts will be sent to carers for low battery and if the internet is offline.
