The Medpage MP5 is a movement sensor; placed under the person's mattress at approximately shoulder height. Also available with mat sensor (increased sensitivity; see website links in 'General Details'). It features sensitivity control for adjustment to the person's body weight and mattress type, and has an adjustable 'permissible movement alarm delay' to allow the person to turn in bed without triggering an alarm. Also features a built-in microphone. When alert is triggered, alarm transmission is sent to the two carer's pagers.

Extra product information
When triggered, the sensor does not emit any sound; however links to monitor; which sends transmission via radio frequency to the carer's pagers. Pagers will vibrate and/or play auditory alert.
Alert may be triggered via movement beyond the permissible movement period, and via the vocal monitor microphone (grunting, choking sounds).
Pagers each require 2x AA batteries.
Monitor powered by 12V power adaptor with battery back-up.
Can also connect to 'auto dialler' or nurse call systems via internal output connector.
