The Blueassist Home is a monitored personal alarm system with a small pendant and 3G connectivity. The speaker and microphone are located on the base unit, which must be plugged into mains power (however also has battery back-up for power outages). The pendant has up to 200m range from the base unit and is 'hot waterproof', therefore can be worn in the shower. Options such as falls detection, smoke detectors and a pendant that can operate in the wider community can be requested at the time of order, though will incur additional costs. Option for rental or purchase. If user has pacemaker, recommended to wear on wrist or belt, rather than lanyard.
