These pegs are cut from a dowel-shaped piece of wood with a long central notch cut in one end. The other end has a button-shape cut into it to provide extra grip. It is useful for people with weak or poor grip as the pegs can be pushed onto the clothes and removed without having to squeeze against a spring.
