A C-shaped cushion filled with polystyrene balls (used in filling bean bags). Designed to support the arm whilst an individual is sitting in either an armchair, wheelchair or bed. Cover is made from soft brushed polycotton. Optional water resistant cover also available. Inner liner is made from polythene.

Both ends of the Cushion have a loop for attachment to the chair if necessary to prevent the pillow from slipping.

Method of use:
. The support is filled with desired amount of fill.
. This varies according to the size of the patient and the chair.
. The narrow neck of the cushion should be placed behind the individual's back and the individual leans against it. This should hold the neck of the cushion in position but an elastic loop has been sewn into the end of neck so it can be secured via a ribbon if necessary.
. The neck can be used as a lumbar support if it is filled with beans.
. The main body of the cushion is placed on the chair's armrest and
moulded into shape to support the individual's arm and hand.
. An elastic loop enables the cushion to be tied to the chair if necessary.
Washing:
. The inner liner bag is removable. To allow the outer cover to be washed.
