Installation

A choice of mounting straps are available:

SVTC: Tether strap mount, 2 shoulder hooks. Suits cars, vans or wagons with anchor points. Vest comes with seat belt loops.

SVS: Portable seat mount. Suits non-folding back bus seat. Needs an extra locking clip SV4012. To be used when seat backs are stationary. The mount wraps over the back of the seat.

SVFM: Permanent floor mount. For cars without standard anchor point.

SVWC: Wheelchair mount

Caution

This product does not meet Australian Standards. It is required by law that a medical certificate from a medical practitioner, and a letter of exemption from the Department of Transport, Vehicle Safety and Standards, be obtained before use.

Method of Use
The harness can be worn prior to the person entering the vehicle
The harness is attached via D rings on each shoulder to the 2 shoulder hooks on the mounting straps. Two loops on the bottom of the harness enable the vehicle lap seat belt to be fed through, below the users waist
A parachute emblem is stitched to the front left shoulder strap to guide correct positioning

Choice of four types of tether straps: 1. Tether strap mount for use in vehicles with existing anchor points, 2. Portable seat mount for use in buses with non-folding seats (requires an extra locking clip), 3. Permanent floor mount for use in cars without existing anchor points, 4. Wheelchair mount.

Sizes
Available in four sizes.
XXS: suitable for ages 2-5. Includes crotch strap
S: suitable for children. Includes crotch strap
M: suitable for youths. Includes crotch strap.
L: suitable for adults. Crotch strap optional.
Each size has a choice of three zipper positions (chose before ordering)

Accessories
Sherpa neck pads: cover the mounting clip and deter the user from undoing the clip
Bar slides: help deter users from loosening adjustments
Crotch strap (standard for XXS, S and M sizes. Optional for L size)
Wrist restraints
Ankle restraints
Locking clip
Upper arm restraints
Zipper inserts (to expand harness for larger chest circumferences)
Leg belt (to modify harness for use in prone or supine lying position)
and include a push button front closure, front closure with buckle rings and a back closure with hook and loop fabric.
