A directional radio transmitter and receiver system to help locate people who wander. A small pendant transmitter is worn around the neck (the chain is short enough so that it cannot be removed easily) or as a belt. A portable receiver and antenna are used to trace the wanderer. When the antenna is pointed in the direction of the transmitter, a beeping sound increases in intensity.
