General Details
- Extra product information
The grates are available in a variety of different lengths and have the option of a straight or angled shape. There are seven different designs with a range of different surfaces available, together with a channel that can be tiled.
The TECEdrainline grates consists of a patterned grate, a standard channel, or a plate tileable channel and a drain.
The TECEdrainline plate tileable channel is used as a base for tiles and floorings, which enables the newly laid tiles on the channel to be matched the existing tile pattern. Two narrow joints for water drainage remain visible for water drainage.
The stainless steel shower channels can be positioned between dry and wet areas or installed directly on the floor or wall within a wet area.

Mounting feet
"Drainbase" sound insulation mat- Installation
The TECEdrainline grates must be installed and sealed by a licensed plumber.
The channel body is kept stable through complete under filling with screed. The channel is sealed twice, once with the thin sealing layer in conjunction with the tile cover, then with a special sealing fleece. A completely tight connection between the flange and fleece is achieved through the adhesive applied to the flange in the factory. The additional installation of the drain base sound proofing mat ensures effective sound insulation.
A cut-to-size, water-impermeable sealing fleece and the adhesive applied to the sealing flange in the factory ensure tight sealing to the floor. The plumber carries out channel positioning and drain-side installation. The tiler is responsible for installation in the screed and sealing.
