FRAME
The frame is rigid, however the backrest folds down for transportation. There are rear anti-tip bars. It is constructed from anodized aluminium and steel. The tilt mechanism is comprised of three curved tubes located under the centre of the chair. This layout can help to protect the system from debris, fluids etc. The middle tube has multiple grooves that lock into a spring loaded shaft. Each groove equals approximately three degrees of tilt. The front end of the frame is flared for greater stability, and allows for 90 degree front hangers without caster interference. The push handle hand grip is available in traditional bend (90 degree bend) or Ergo bend (angled down). Three handle heights are available.

MECHANISM
The back recline can be adjusted and fixed by using hand tools. The tilt mechanism is operated by a foot activated tilt lever, located on the rear base of the frame. The foot lever also has a user-operated safety lock-out device to eliminate unintentional tilting. There are no cables or hand levers.

SEAT
A range of seating options are available. The seat rails are one inch (25mm) in diameter, allowing compatibility with many types of seating systems.

ARMRESTS
Lift up, tubular armrests are standard. They are available in 330mm or 406mm lengths. Locking, lift up armrests or height adjustable, padded armrests are optional. The padded armrests are available in desk or full length.

LEGREST
The footrest hangers have a spring loaded, pop up and swing away mechanism. They feature a triple locking design for strength and durability. Two hanger options are available (75 or 90 degrees).

FOOTPLATES
Two or one piece, lift up, removable footplates are available. Hanger extensions for footplates are available. Knee to heel range is possible from less than 100mm to 420mm depending on hanger used.

WHEELS
Pneumatic Mag rear wheels are available in three sizes (305mm, 406mm or 457mm in diameter).

CASTORS
Solid caster wheels are available in 76, 102, 127, 152, and 178mm diameters. 76mm and 102mm casters are not available on the 457 to 559mm wide or 508mm to 559mm deep chairs. Poly castors, light up poly castors and pneumatic casters (152mm diameter only) are available. Frog legs are optional with some castor options.

COLOURS
It is available in a wide range of colours including black, blizzard blue, blue blast, blue stardust, cosmic purple, extreme green, mystic teal, octane orange, pacific blue, passion purple, pink parfait, really red, red sunset, sparkle green, twilight and yellow.

BRAKES
Push to lock or pull to lock brakes are available. Back cane mounted, cable operated hub locks are also an option.
