A battery powered attendant propelled height adjustable chair for use with showering, toileting and personal grooming such as pedicures. The chair has a lightweight frame with plastic seat, backrest and leg / foot supports. The chair tilts back (tilt in space) as it raises in height. The footplates swing away ad the armrests lift up. Available in one size to suit adults.

The chair features a hollow tubular steel frame and has a U-shaped base with an opening at the rear of the chair. Due to the arched shape of the frame, the higher the chair is raised, the more it will tilt back. Height adjustment is achieved by pressing two push buttons located on the remote control handset, which is attached to an extendable cord.
The chair is powered by a rechargeable, waterproof battery located at the rear of the chair. An audible buzzing sound indicates need for charging. Charging is achieved by removing the battery from its docking station on the chair to the separate charging device connected to a mains power point.
The seat has an oval-shaped cut-out to facilitate toileting. An optional commode pan can also be placed underneath the seat. The two footplatesare attendant foot operated, swing away and can support full weight bearing, and the two-piece legrests are swing-away and angle adjustable. The armrests lift up and come with two handles; one is round knob style grip on the end of the armrest, the other is an oval shaped loop with an opening located underneath the front of the armrests.
The high backrest has a cut-out in the lower section of the backrest and at the rear of the seat facilitate cleaning.
The four castor wheels have foot operated step-on lockable brakes.
