A specially designed two way hinge system that allows a door to open outwards in an emergency. For example, if someone falls against the door. The hinge is made from stainless steel and it can be fitted to doors made of metal or timber.

Consists of three components:
1. PRIVACY SET
- for normal door operation and to act as the second handle in emergency operation.2. EMERGENCY ESCAPE HANDLE
- remains in position flat against door in normal use. In emergencies it provides a handle for easy removal of door.3. ESCAPE HINGES
