A single slide sheet made from non-woven synthetic material. The slide sheet can be used to position a person in bed, to move people from the floor and for transfers from chair to bed. Available in two sizes

Method of Use
To position the user onto their side.
An attendant is required on each side of the occupant.
Turn the occupant slightly and push the folded transfer sheet under the occupant.
Open ends to be on opposite side to the direction the occupant will face.
Turn back in opposite direction and pull transfer sheet through, so several centimetres are on either side of the occupant.
To turn, hold top open edge of the transfer sheet at the occupants shoulder and hip.
Bend knees. straighten back and pull directly towards own hips with palms facing upwards.
Once occupant is on their side, remove transfer sheet by pulling bottom layer.
The second attendant may assist with the turn.
To position up in the bed
Roll patient onto two transfer sheets positioned between their shoulders and knees or one sheet folded open ends to the head of the bed.
An attendant on each side of the occupant to hold the top layer of the transfer sheet that is level with the occupants hips and shoulders.
Bend knees. Straighten the back and hold with palm facing upwards.
Feet to be facing forwards.
Do not lift but slide the occupant.
To remove the transfer sheet pull on the bottom layer of sheet. Pulling on top layer may cause friction on the occupants skin.
