This system consists of a portable pontoon which can be fitted with either a modular off-the-beach (OTB) walkway, or a one piece ramp for use off a jetty, wall or bank on-shore. The OTB walkway is in four metre lengths which join at floats with 500kg bouyancy. The ramp is 6 metres long and like the walkway sections, is a foam sandwich laminate for weight saving portability. Both the walkway and the ramp have a removable hand rail down one side.
General Details
- Extra product information
*The concept is for a walkway floating at water level and of variable length depending on the steepness of the sea bed.
*A Davit and self help wind-up hoist (LAYLAH) can be fitted to the pontoon to assist a person with a disability to transfer in/out of the boat.
*Four 4m walkway sections, 2 pontoon floats and 6 supporting floats all pack into 4m x 2m x .7m which is a manageable package.
*Either type of pontoon can be carried in a single axle trailer with a
variety of combinations of boats and walkway lengths. A tandem trailer is needed if a fleet of boats is also carried.
*NOTE: Only up to 3 people should be on any walkway or ramp section at a time.- Manufacturer/Country
