A can opener with a one piece handle that incorporates a spring loaded lever - when the lever is pushed in, the cutting wheels attach onto the top of can. The elongated handle on the top of the opener is rotated to activate the cutting action. The lever is released by pressing a button on the opposite side of the handle - the lid is then removed. It can be used with the right or left hand.
