.The Fallsafe paver is designed to absorb an impact through deforming at a predetermined rate until the object is slowed to a stop. This energy is absorbed in the deformation of the air spaces, walls and bridges within the moulded shape in the underside of the paver.
.This paver has been designed to significantly reduce the risk of head injury. May not prevent long bone or green stick fractures, however (according to the manufacturer) experience suggests that Fallsafe will reduce the frequency and severity of these breaks.
Installation
Can be installed on any solid sub-base indoors or outdoors. There are no special tools required and volunteer labour can handle most installations. Supplier will install as well.
Maintenance
Outdoor areas require only an occasional sweep or hose down. Indoor areas may be damp mopped and swept as required.
