A lightweight rubber writing aid which can be slipped onto most regular sized pens or pencils. It is designed to assist a user to oppose their thumb and index finger under a flat top surface while holding the pen or pencil. The middle finger should support the grip underneath. It is available in a number of colours and has a slip resistant surface.

The manufacturers of this grip recommend that the child use it consistently for several months. After this, they suggest that the child will naturally adopt the dynamic tripod grip.
- Method of Use
1. Following the direction of the small pencil on the bottom of the "Start Right" pencil grip, slide a pencil into the grip. Stop just above the paint line.
2. Place your thumb and index finger opposite each other under the flat top surface. The middle finger supports the grip underneath. The ring and little fingers are curled into the palm.
3. The pencil should rest on the web space between the thumb and index finger.- Websites
