A rectangular height adjustable clothesline supported by a central post with a winding height adjustment mechanism. A single post at one end of the frame stabilises the line to prevent it rotating. May be a useful line for small spaces. It can also be set in the ground to an accessible height for people in a wheelchair. Available in various sizes.

This line is installed at RILU (Rehabilitation Independent Living Unit) at The Canberra Hospital.
The RILU clothesline turning mechanism is 500mm above ground level. The lines are 1400mm high at the lowest position and can be reached easily from seated height. The lines are 1800mm in the highest position and are accessible from a standing position, but a person would need to stoop to adjust the turning mechanism.
