The retractable spring arm has been designed to reduce the showering time for clients, resulting in a reduction in water consumption, water heating costs and greater comfort for the person and carer. The arm is made from chrome plated brass. It has a retractable stainless steel compression spring in the upper section of the arm. It can be retrofitted to an existing shower and suits all shower cubicles. It is made to fit a standard 900mm cubicle but can be made longer if required. The extra hose length allows the carer to avoid dragging the shower hose across the person's body. If the shower head is dropped, the spring arm retracts so the head doesn't hit the floor.
