Safety Bath is a walk-in fibreglass and spa bathtub with an outward opening door. It features a low entrance step, an integral seat and a removable booster seat. The controls are located at the side of the seat. The door can be left or right hand opening. It comes with a set of pressure balanced scald guard taps. Also included is a hand held shower and a pop-up drain valve. A whirlpool system is standard equipment in each unit.

SEAT
Seat and back are moulded. Seat and floor have a slip resistant surface.
TAPS
Safety Bath is supplied with a set of pressure balancing, scald guard taps. The tap can be adjusted for maximum temperature setting to prevent burns and for even temperatures when other water outlets are used at the same time.
CONTROLS
All controls such as the tap, hand shower, pop up drain and the door closer are within easy reach. The door is opened and closed by means of a stainless steel lever arm on top of the door.

A pop up drain valve with an in built overflow prevents danger of overflow. An external drain is supplied to prevent flooding.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR USE
. Suitable for ambulant users. Can be used with a overtrack hoist. Not wheelchair accessible.
. After entering the bath, the user needs to wait for bath to fill with water. The water has to be drained out of the bath before the door can be opened to exit the bath.

Installation
No major renovations are required. Safety Bath is a self contained unit. It can be installed in any convenient location in the home. Requires professional installation by a plumber.
The Bath will pass through any 760mm door opening - 710mm with jam removed.
In public buildings, fitted baths and showers must be installed in accordance with AS1428: Part 1.
