A lightweight corkscrew designed to open both synthetic and cork closures. It can be used for all sized bottles including those with a wide rim. Operation of the corkscrew requires two hands. It is held over the top of the bottle and a lever handle is then used to move the cork screw into the cork and then remove the cork. It includes a foil cutter.

A flap at the side of the opener lifts up to allow the top of the bottle to be placed into the corkscrew tower. The corkscrew is located inside the tower and is pushed into the cork when the lever handle is pushed down. The cork is removed when the lever handle is pulled up.
