A rectangular pressure reducing cushion made from a layered system of gel and visco-elastic foam for people weighing up to 385kg. A domed gel chamber spans the entire front portion of the cushion, preventing the user from sliding forward. The cushion is anchored to the seat of the wheelchair with four ties and a slip-resistant base keeps it in position.
