This battery kit allows a lift recline chair to operate using either mains electricity or a 24 volt re-chargeable battery. It includes two 170mm front wheels, two 100mm back castors with a foot brake, a rear push bar and optional footplate. The chair can be operated using the battery during the day and recharged overnight. The kit is available on the Menningham and Brumby style chairs from Oscar Furniture.

Frame finish: The chair has a steel and timber frame.
Backrest: The backrest has three cushions, including a lumbar support, which can be customised using a foam insert. A detachable neck cushion is available in three sizes. The cushion is held in place by a weight on the bottom of the cushion at the back of the chair.
Armrests: Available with show-wood arms or waterfall arms.
Footrest: This chair has a foot plate to support the feet.
Controls: These are hand held on an extendable cord, fixed and mounted into armrest of the chair, on the left or right hand side. Regular controls are a two way switch. A four button switch is used with the dual motor, .
Action of the chair: With a single motor, the chair moves into stand or recline as a unit. With dual motors, the backrest and footrest move separately.
Power: mains powered, or 12 volt battery. The battery has a low voltage cut out for battery protection.
Upholstery: Fully upholstered with anti-bacterial fabric or micro-suede. Pressure foam is available in the seats for an extra cost.
Customisation: The chair can be fully customised.
