Car seats suitable for children 15-36kg (Carrot 3000) or teens and small adults 36-75kgs (Carrot XL). Two models with a range of accessories including wedge cushion to enable seat tilt, swivel base, footplates, tray and adjustable positioning for the head supports. Available in one size with adjustability through added growth pads / extenders. Does not meet Australian Standard AS/NZ 1754. Meets European Standard ECE R44/044.

Recline: the backrest is hinged allowing it to recline to the angle of the vehicle seat

The vehicle lap-sash seat belt must also be used across the child in the child car restraint. A belt guide is standard. This can be used to hold the seatbelt in a lower position for smaller children to prevent the seatbelt touching the child's neck.

Top tether
Fixation straps x2. One secures the head support to the vehicle head rest. The second secures the back rest to the vehicle backrest.
Vehicle lap sash seat belt goes across child in the child car restraint and buckles in place
Air Travel:
The supplier states this car seat is suitable for use on aeroplanes with most airlines. Check the airline's policy before travel.
OPTIONS:
Rodded seat front extension short: 90 degree angle, used for when child's knees are in flexion / bent
Rodded seat front extension long: waterfall style to provide upper leg support for when child's legs are in extension/straight
Seat depth growth pads: Available in 50mm and 100mm extension sizes. These can be used together to give an extra 150mm growth.
Backrest height extension infill pads: Available in 50mm, 100mm and 150mm extension sizes. The 50mm and 100mm can also be used together to give an extra 150mm extension (instead of the single 150mm extension piece)
Foot plate system: flip-up, height adjustable foot plate system available in 3 sizes: small to suit leg length 25-30cm, medium to suit leg length 30-40cm, large to suit leg length 40-50cm
Shoulder protection wings
Seat recline wedge: This can be positioned on the seat to provide tilt. Attaches via hook and loop tape.
Tray: cushioned table to support the forearms. Removable.
Top tether strap: for attachment into the vehicle
Swivel base: the Carrot 3000 can be fitted to a turntable base, when used conjunction with ISO-FIX attachments.
Caution
This item may be suitable for children who require greater support than that provided by standard child car restraints.
This car seat does not meet Australian Standards AS/NZ 1754. Please refer to Australian Standards AS/NZS 4370: 2013 Restraint of children with disabilities in motor vehicles to assist in deciding the safest way to transport a child with a disability.
