A range of low-profile, ceiling and wall mount occupancy sensors designed to detect when a person is moving or entering/exiting the room. The sensors generally involve passive infra-red (PIR) motion sensing for activity alerts, control of lighting, climate control, and other devices in the room. They can be connected to advanced nurse call systems for profile monitoring of individual residents, lighting control and alerts.
