Talley B.A.S.E. Seating System - Recliner Mat cushion
https://ilcaustralia.org.au/products/7658
The B.A.S.E range of cushions feature rows of interconnected air bellows that adapt to body contours for even pressure distribution. For those at high risk of pressure injury. The B.A.S.E Recliner Mat and Sequential Cushion system feature a 1-in-4 alternating pressure cycle and may be used with the mains power pump used for the Quattro Overlay or Quattro Plus mattress systems or it may be used with a smaller mobile pump. The B.A.S.E Alternating Cushion has a one in two alternating pressure cycle and uses a mains power pump. The B.A.S.E Flotation Cushion does not alternate cycles and has a pressure adjuster to ensure the right amount of air is in the cushion during use.
General Details
- Caution
All cushions must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct choice and depth of foam, correct inflation level) , a different product may need to be considered.
- Extra product information
OPERATION: Alternating cushion cycles 1-in-2 over 10 minutes, while Sequential and Recliner Mat cushions cycle at 1-in-4 over 15 minutes (mains pump); variable cycle time with mobile pump.

BATTERY (mobile pump): A fully charged battery can operate the cushion for in excess of 20hrs. It can be charged while the cushion is in use.
