The Grasp switch is a pneumatic, cylindrical switch with a hard plastic base and a soft non-slip foam handle designed to be held in a hand. The switch is activated by squeezing the foam handle. No tactile or auditory feedback is provided on activation.

INTERFACE: - 3.5mm male monoplug.
METHOD OF USE: - Individualised positioning of switch is required.
- Can be used to operate a variety of equipment that is designed for switch control including communication devices, computer software, environmental control equipment and some toys.
OPERATION: - The Grasp Switch is activated when air pressure is altered within the cylinderical body of the switch. This change is achieved by applying pressure to the switch. Described as 'pneumatic' in operation.
FEEDBACK: - No tactile or auditory feedback.
COMMENTS: - The air inside the switch may expand if the switch is exposed to heat such as sun, heaters, or a lamp. This can cause the switch to latch 'on'.
