This wheelchair has an epoxy coated frame with fibreglass body work. It is available in three frame colours (blue, red or gold). It has a fully upholstered, foam padded, vinyl covered seat.
The headrest is height adjustable and the backrest can be reclined to five different angles via a lever located at the rear lower left hand side of the seat.
The swing-away controller is programmable and features a flush on/off switch, proportional joystick, battery charge indicator, horn and speed control. The controller can be mounted on the left or right hand side of the wheelchair.The wheelchair is powered by two 12 volt sealed gel batteries located within a cartridge style battery box under the frame. The battery charging point is located on the front of the controller. The motor can be disengaged and the chair free wheeled by turning two levers located near each rear wheel
The wheelchair can be broken down into five parts for transportation (seat, wheel base, fibreglass cowlings, and two batteries). It has a fold down backrest and removable batteries.
CONTROLLER can be mounted on the left or right armrest and can swing away.
BATTERIES are 12 volt sealed gel and are stored in a cartridge style battery box. An off board battery charger is provided.
REAR WHEELS are 310mm (12") diameter, pneumatic tyres.FRONT WHEELS are 200mm (8") diameter, solid tyres.
ARMRESTS are full length, padded, flip-up and width adjustable.
FOOTPLATE is 1 piece, flip-up.
BRAKES are electromagnetic.

Modifications to your vehicle must be in line with the Australian safety and design rules. Fitting of wheelchair occupant restraints, child restraints and vehicle hoist ramps must meet relevant Australian Standards. Modifications should be done by suitably qualified vehicle modifiers. You will also need to inform your car insurer of any vehicle modifications. Your policy may become void if you do not do so.
