The commode has a padded, PVC upholstered, removable cushion with a fixed solid plastic seat base underneath. The commode has a wrap-around style backrest which incorporates the armrests. The legs of the chair are straight and fixed.
A plastic commode pan is provided with the commode and sits within the fixed plastic seat base underneath the seat cushion. The pan is removable and comes with a lid and carry handle. When the pan is lifted and carried, the lid is locked into place.
