https://ilcaustralia.org.au/products/9072
An alarm system which alerts a caregiver of a person`s attempt to leave their bed or chair via use of a pressure sensitive pad. There are five distinct alarm tones which allow a specific tone to be assigned to a specific user and to ensure the tone is different to other alarms in the nearby area. It also includes an Auto Pause which delays activation of the unit until it is fully set up and the user positioned correctly and Auto Reset which shuts the alarm off when the user sits or lies back down. This system is battery powered with an audible low battery warning.

The system consists of a range of pressure sensors which can be placed under a mattress or seat, on a seatbelt, or on a wheelchair seat. While the user's weight is on the sensor or the seatbelt buckle is clasped, it is not activated. As soon as the user moves off the sensor or releases the seatbelt buckle, an alarm tone is activated.
Five alarm tones are available. Alarm units can be placed with the user and in the carer's location. The alarm volume can be adjusted with a sound dampening plug.
A recessed on/off switch enables the alarm to be turned off during transfers, and deters the user from tampering with the alarm.
