General Details
Extra product information
The hoist is constructed from epoxy coated rectangular steel tubing, with the seat, backrest and protective pads made from special flame retardant elastomer which does not absorb water.
The seat moves along the vertical mast. The person sits sideways on the chair. It has a removable backrest so the person can face either direction. A U shaped push handle is mounted on the mast, and two push handles are found on the flip down rails, allowing the hoist to be pushed from three sides.
The base is U shaped, with the two parallel legs angling out at the ends to provide foot space when pushing from the side and allowing it to fit around chairs and under beds. The top of the base has a slip resistant surface so it may be used as a footrest for the person in the hoist.
The foot operated control allows hands free operation. The lifter is belt driven, so there is no need for oiling parts.
May be used for bathing with baths with legs.
