Equipment connected over the nbn™ access network will not work during a power blackout. An exception is if you have FTTP with optional battery backup, in which case you can get up to approximately five hours of power (this includes the battery emergency reserve which offers approximately three, to three and a half hours initially, and around another one and a half hours once the 'Battery Emergency' button is pressed) - provided the battery has been correctly maintained.
